Candidates must,

• Have a valid CE license
• At least 25 years of age and under 50 years.
• 5 years of international truck driving experience
• Willing to be on the road for a minimum of 10 days followed by 4 days off
• Be physically fit
• Manageable English Communication Skills
• Have a current passport and be admissible to the United States to drive a commercial vehicle.

 

Job responsibilities:

• Driving and managing tractor-trailer OR long-combination vehicle OR straight-body truck.
• Collect and maintain required documentation to transport goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipments
• Ensure cargo is in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures
• Recording hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Maintain log books
• Knowledge of performing emergency roadside repairs

 

Hiring Criteria:

• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality records
• Must be able to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Flexible while working in schedules
• Minimum 2 years safe driving
• All drivers are subject to a Criminal Records and Driver’s Abstract checks

• Base Salary of 58 000$ / year for full time work
